While an older hotel it remains an inviting, peaceful, and comfortable place to stay due to the excellent location and a well-trained/conscientious hotel staff. The hotel staff is extremely engaging and an integral part of the Trinity Hotel experience. The Front Desk under the watchful eye of Brendan who is a remarkable host and very knowledgeable making him a stellar ambassador for the Trinity Hotel. Both Brendan and Delva go out of their way to make one feel welcome and are there to answer any question or solve any challenge one may have during their stay. Delva is a true professional who loves assisting guests. The Doorman, Kenneth, is always there to help with luggage, open doors, and arrange transport plus answer any inquiries about the local area. The breakfast is first-class and never disappoints. Linda always greets you with a smile and a cup of coffee at breakfast. Make certain you do the breakfast. Finally, Alberto in the dining area/bar is exceptional and introduced us to the evening dining. Plus, Alberto is an exceptional member of the wait staff who highlighted the new items on the menu. One great and pleasant surprise was the butternut squash soup that Alberto recommended. It was delightful.

I can say without any doubt, the staff at the Trinity City Hotel are the most pleasant and helpful I have met in a very long time;from the gentleman from Ukraine who facilitated check-in for my son and car parking, the Concierge gentlemen from Spain and the Philippines who were so incredibly helpful and friendly and the Brazilian ladies serving at the bar ( "Tayto Crisps?", sorry,a private joke between us ) ,all a credit to the hotel management.Nothing was too much trouble to them; just one example:Myself and my family were attending a function at Trinity College; it was pouring rain and I asked to get access to my car and get my umbrella.... " We can help you with umbrellas " said the Concierge, and produced 3 ! I must not forget either the three Irish guys at the Front of House who were so helpful too .A truly memorable stay thanks to the wonderful staff. The rooms were lovely too. and an excellent breakfast.Thank you ,Trinity City Hotel!

My wife and I stayed at the Trinity City Hotel for a few days in January having had our return to the States delayed by Storm Eowyn. We have stayed there a number of times before and it has always been good, but this last trip was exceptional. It is the small things that make the difference. The staff were without exception very helpful and special thanks to the bar/ restaurant staff, in particular Alin who made us feel very welcome. I thought the bar food was really good and our room on the top floor of the conservatory side of the building was excellent.

Beautiful hotel inside. Lovely reception and bar area. We were in a great room on the 6th floor with a balcony overlooking Trinity College sports grounds and buildings. We could see The Tree Rock Mountain in the distance. The balcony had a very nice wicker table and two chairs. Comfortable bed and spotless bathroom. Great variety of food for breakfast. The valet parking for €25 a night was a great asset. Though we are aware that there is limited parking there.

John

The hotel is located in the city center. You can reach all the important points and tourist streets within a few minutes on foot. We stayed for 7 days. Towels were changed every day, our coffee was constantly renewed. The decoration of the room was also nice. We liked the breakfast. It was simple and sufficient. The sweet buns were great. I would like to thank the breakfast staff. They are very kind and helpful people.
